Elegant and colourful quality leather browbands with velvet ribbon and satin decoration.
Available with or without petite rosettes, the browbands are hand made from quality leather with 4 ribbon strands - usually 1 velvet and 3 satin - giving a combination of 1, 2, 3 or 4 colourways.
The browbands are made up with the velvet ribbon on the outer edge and the satin ribbons in the centre.
So for example, a Red/White/Blue browband would be ordered as follows:
1st velvet ribbon colour: Red
2nd Velvet ribbon colour: either 'Red' or 'None'
1st satin ribbon colour: White
2nd satin ribbon colour: Blue
This would result in a lovely browband, with red velvet on the outer edge and with white and blue satin ribbon diamonds along the centre line.
To order a browband with just two colourways, chose one velvet and one satin and select 'none' for the other choices, or duplicate the two colours required.
N.B. Sharkstooth and Candy Stripe can only be made from two colours. For three and four colour browbands choose diamond pattern.

Please note- Commonly referred to as 'Velvet' browbands, they are actually a mixture of velvet and satin ribbons and the underlying leather browband of course.
It is possible to make a completely velvet browband, using velvet for all 4 strands on a diamond pattern, or both strands on a sharks tooth pattern; however this results in a poorer quality finish and gives a very 'flat' look to the product.
Browband sizes are as follows:
Small Pony 12.5", Pony 13.5", Cob 14.5", Full 15.5", XF 16.5" .
Measurements are marginally nominal, in that they are taken from the outer edge of the fold at each end of the browband and this loop does spring in or out a little, depending on the leather size of the bridle it is fitted to.
